Popsy's licensed coffee shop & bistro

A great place to go for excellent homemade cake and coffee or tea. Fab sandwiches and hot food. You can take well behaved dogs too. Wonderful decor.

I drive from Manchester, I was visiting the area and found Popsys, my husband and I found the food really delicious, and home made cakes omg. Just like mother used to make, But the welcome. You can't buy ,it felt so warm and lovely,in a time of tension and divide in the country, as a black woman.i felt so warm and welcomed . please continue what you do ,me and my husband found it to be first class,well worth the visit

Six of us came to Popsys for tea & cake to commemorate a loved one who passed away 7 years ago. The atmosphere is divine, the decoration are so sweet and cheerful. The staff are incredible, they couldn't do enough for us, our youngest was particularly enamoured with the staff member who popped out the get the French bread. The food was gorgeous, between the six of us we had bacon sarnies, ploughman's, vegan loaf cake, rocky roads, kinder bueno hot chocolates, a huuuge pot of tea, a pulled pork toastie and a biscoff bake. Everything was good, well made, beautifully presented and tasted delicious. It was a fabulous morning and we will be back.

What a lovely place that I would never have guessed was there. The staff are amazing and beyond helpful… excellent work Guys and great food!!!

I called in here for a bite to eat whilst on a walk. I felt very welcome from the moment I arrived. The staff are great and my food was nice. Keep up the good work all! *it's also worth mentioning that you can pay with cash or a bank transfer, which is handy because I didn't have any cash on me at the time.*

We were very lucky to hold our engagement party at Popsy’s. Thank you Terri, John and the team at Popsy’s for making our night so special! Nothing was too much trouble and you were always happy to answer our countless questions in the run up to the party and help make all of our ideas come together! Harry and I, and all of our guests, had a wonderful night. We can’t thank you enough We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone planning a party. The hall next to popsys was perfect for the DJ, buffet, dance floor and tables and seating for just under 100 people. The bar staff were very friendly and accommodating and the bar had a great selection of well priced drinks. Thank you everyone at Popsy’s

Called in as I saw the sign it was open. Nice atmosphere, friendly approachable staff. No flapjacks on, so had a scone and jam. Really comfortable seats and pleasant background music. Love the China cups. Shall be back

A lovely wee place for coffee cake lunch or afternoon tea, great decor, very friendly and attentive staff, nice ambience and good value for money. Big choice of sandwiches toasties soup cakes etc. they only accept cash or bank transfer so be prepared. Well behaved dogs were welcomed. Looks like you can hire it out for private functions and it’s licensed!
